The start of our 2011-2012 season was a quiet demanding one.
We started with a short trip to San Sebastian in the North of Spain. With our chiefconductor Yannick Nezet Seguin we played 2 concert in the Festival there with Mahler Symphony no:3 and Concert for Orchestra by Bartok.
Not a bad place to be in August. Also the festival is really nice and we had great succes with our concerts.
We will return next season!!
After this sunny start we continued with our yearly Gergiev Festival with 4 different concerts in one week.
Mahler 9, Sadko, Bruckner 8 and Schumann 3. Enough to play!

After the festival we directly went on tour with the Rotterdam Phil. With our chief, Yannick Nezet Seguin we had 2 concerts in Belgium, Prague and 7 cities in Germany.
The program was Bruckner 7 & 8 and the Dvorak cello concert.
A very demanding tour with a great section, good concerts, delicious beer and food and nice colleagues. The order of this is random!!
