Last January Ben van Dijk was soloist with the "Banda Municipal de Santa Cruz de Tenerife"
conductor Jose Rafael Pascual-Vilaplana,
guest conductor Johan de Meij.

after a very succesful concert.
The concert was given in the beautiful "Teatro Guimere de Santa Cruz de Tenerife", Canary Islands [Spain] and was an almost sold out concert.

The hopitality of the members of the Banda was as good as their quality. This is a full professional windband of a very high level with some great musicians on important chairs.
Johan de Meij and Ben van Dijk had a great time with the Banda's principal conductor Felipe Neri Gil Marrero and the orchestra's bass trombonist Antonio damian Hernandez.
The last day on the island was a free day and these two great gentleman organized a perfect tour on the island.
