Korea Master class - 2000

From July 26 till Aug 6 Ben made his second trip to Seoul, Korea on an ivitation from his friend, Hong-Hyun Choi, to give a masterclass in the summercamp of the Seoul Trombone Ensemble.


Together with Mr. Chang Jun-Hwa, professor at the Yonsei University in Seoul and the teachers Yong-Jun Choi,Jae-Man Bae, Jong-Man Park, Seung-Young Song, Cheol-Woong Lee, Sang-Kyun Back, Hong-Hyun Choi, Jeong-Hyun Park, Young-Jun Park, Chun-Heum Yeon, Un-Seong Kim, Ben worked for 10 days with more then 40 students from Highschool and Universities.


On Aug 4, they gave a sold-out concert in Seoul where more then 900 people attended the concert which was live broadcasted by local television and Radio.
 Ben conducted Derick Bourgouis "Scherzo Funèbre" and played "The Chief" by John Stevens accompanied by the Seoul Trombone Ensemble with Mr. Chang as conductor. Other soloists during the concert were, Cheol-Woong Lee and Un-Seong Kim,both wonderful tenortrombonists.
