Last week I made a visit to the Thein factory with 3 students from the
"Codarts" Conservatory Rotterdam.
Sebastiaan Kemner , Pablo Ruiz Henao and Astri Karoline Ellan
join Heinrich Thein for a group picture at the Factory.
Astri joined me to try out a new bass trombone. After trying out 3 different models, and adjusting many little parts she ended up with a very nice set-up for herself!

Sebastiaan choose a very nice tenor trombone in the line of models developed
by Michael Massong. Sebastiaan will try out the Alto trombone line of Thein beginning 2010.
Pablo had some modifications done on his Bach basstrombone.
All three were very happy with this long day. It was nice to join them and help them choosing the right instrument.
During the day, Heinrich Thein showed the students the factory and explained in a very nice way how the instruments, step by step are builded.
