In July 2008 the
International trombone Ensemble, a group formed by ex students of my school, the
Rotterdam "Codarts" Conservatory, made a tour to Japan. Most of these players, play now in major orchestras in Europe.
The ensembles website is at:

Both Jorgen van Reijen and myself were guest solists during this event.
This tour was organized in Memory of the late "Hiro Suzuki" a former student of mine in Rotterdam who passed away in June 2007.
