Isaac Sanabria wins audition Chile.

Just recently my former student at the Rotterdam Conservatory, Isaac Sanabria, won the audition for the basstrombone opening in the Orquesta Filarmónica de Santiago de Chile.

After finishing his study for tenor trombone at the Codarts Conservatory Isaac switched to the basstrombone and studied with me for 2 1/2 years in Rotterdam.
In this periode he made very quick progression on the basstrombone and played with me several times in the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra.
Besides that he played for one year as first call in the Holland Symfonia Orkest.

Isaac is also member of the International Trombone Ensemble and joined the group (and me) for their succesful tour to Japan in the summer of 2008.

Isaac left for Chile at the end of Februari 2009. We all will miss him very much here in Holland because he always was a great guy to be or play with.
First I like to congratulate Isaac with his new job and great work to get his high level of playing.
Also I wish Isaac all the succes and luck in the world and hope to see him soon, either in Chili or in Holland, again.
