    Shires BII 1Y Bell

This a used SE Shires Bass Trombone bell.  It is a BII 1Y bell which is a yellow brass bass bell with a soldered bead and a wide flare (like a Bach).  I love this bell and played it professionally for a few years.  It's not too heavy nor too light and works for solo, chamber music, and orchestral work (trust me, I know).  :)

This bell has no dents or dings.  It does have some scratches here are there (nothing deep) from a few years of use.  It has a few acid bleeds around the rim of the bell, which seems to be a minor issue on soem Shires bells.  **It does have a scar on the bell where a decent-sized crease was taken out (thank you, Continental Airlines).  It doesn't affect the playability and wouldn't be noticeable to an audience visually.  If you chose to have it done, it could be buffed out.

A brand new Shires BII 1Y bell is $1150.  I'm asking $650 or best offer (plus shipping) for this one.  Pics available upon request.

Dropping the price to $575 or best offer (plus shipping).  Feel free to low-ball me with an offer.  You never know what offer I might accept.  :)
