Planet of the Apes trombone lineup

    Courtesy of a tubenetter.

Pictured (l-r): Phil Teele (contrabass and bass), Charlie Loper (principal tenor), Bill Reichenbach (bass and contrabass), Bob Sanders (way in back, bass and contrabass], Dick Nash (in front of Bob, bass and tenor), Steve Holtman (tenor, bass and contrabass), Alan Kaplan (tenor, bass and contrabass], Alex Iles (tenor and bass) Andy Martin (tenor and bass), Bob Payne (tenor and bass], Bruce Fowler (tenor), Bruce Otto (tenor). Kneeling down in front are John Van Houten (tuba, cimbasso and contra) and Tommy Johnson (tuba, cimbasso and contra) Photo by Charlie Loper

this comes from the International Trombone Association web-page. The picture is on the web site. I don't think I was able to copy it, but it is a good photo. The only drawback is that John Van Houten and Tommy Johnson are holding contrabass trombones instead of their tubas.

The lineup may be slightly off.

    7 contras!!!

What?... This isn't a drawback? Haha, this is the Planet of the Apes TROMBONE lineup, normal that they have their contrabasses.

Fun to notice that all the low-brass of The Incredibles is there:

Trombones: Alex Iles, Alan Kaplan, Dick Nash, Bill Reichenbach.
Tubas: Tommy Johnson, John Van Houten.

I suspect the horn and trumpet section to be pretty similar too.

Jut to be clear, I pulled that from where I got the picture and didn't write it myself (just quoted/pasted it).
