     Hello,

I play tenor and bass trombone every day (bass trombone in orhestra and tenor in freelance and conservatory) and there aren´t a problem. You must practice EVERY day the two trombones and every day will be better. I play 5G bach and JK Cieslik for bass (like 1.5 Bach).I travel all the time with my two trombones. I think it is better for you a bigger tenor mouthpiece (5G or 4G) and for bass 2G. I think will be better for you. Only think about your sound and sing!

    Hello again:

You recommended a 4 or 5g bach mouthpieces for the tenor trombone. But I play 1st trombone in an orchestra.  Will this mouthpieces help me or better the 6 1/2 A bach mouthpieces?

    Thank you very much!!!

     Hello!

If you play solist in a orchestra, I recomaned you 5G or 5 GS (less deep). My collegues solists, 5G is very standard solo trombonist mouthpiece. It is not a big mouthpiece. Maybe 4 is two much, but not  very too much. I always play second trombone in orchestra (freelance) and play 4GB (much big than 4G) or 5G, depending of program. At the end, I recomaned 5G or 5GS.

    Thanks for the last recomendation.

I have another question about leadpipes.  Where can I find information about leadpipes?   How do I know what leadpipe (1,2 or 3) is the best for my sound and performance for the tenor and bass trombone?

     Thanks again!!!!

     Hello!

I don´t undertand about leadpipe too much! Sorry. But in your situation, I think it is not good to play bass trombone with a silver leadpipe, because I think your sound will be too much dark (like euphonium). If you normaly play tenor, I recomaned the more open and easy leadpipe for bass to make easier and clear sound. Do you understand?  For people that normaly not play bass it is dangerous that the sound with bass it will be too much "gua-gua" and dark.

Only it is my opinion, maybe it is not the best!

    Hello again:

When I am  practicing a exercises of my daily routine, I don't  know how much time I have to rest to continue the next exercises?   Some times I feel my lips tinging after I finist an exercises.  Do I have to wait untill the tinging stop?

     Thanks..........
