De cd opnamen in Mijnsheerenland van Calliope Tsoupakis songs (voor Egidius Kwartet en Rotteram Philharmonic Brass Soloists) waren een absoluut feest. Wat spelen die blaas-jongens toch geweldig, en wat een fantastische muziek! Opnameleider en geluidsgenie Bert van Dijk maakte in minder dan geen tijd een perfecte sound.
January 17 and 19. The making of a new Cd recording, a song cycle by Calliope Tsoupaki, in a beautiful church in the Netherlands, with the Egidius Kwartet and the Brass soloists of the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra was a pure delight. Stunning wind performance and fantastic music. For the record: our producer/engineer, Bert van Dijk is no less than a genius.
